configuration is the way many buyers get this case:
punches and fan grommet mounts, Panaflo fans and an
Enermax fan MONITOR-type power supply. A 3HD hanger is added, so that buyers with two HDs will have adequate ventilation space.
The airflow is about 112 cfm intake and about 94 cfm
exhaust for a total flow through of 200-plus cfm.
Note that the
modifications list includes two modifications to one
of the 5.25 drive column fan mounts: after removing the
fan cage, the column center is opened, and then a mounting
holes are drilled for a 92 fan . This will allow
you to install a 92 mm. fan there at a later
date. These drive column mods are a noticable improvement over
the use of 80 mm fans in the factory fan cage, and thist can be used
either as intake fans or as exhaust fans--thus creating
more cooling flexibility for 5.25 devices.
