SR20503 recommended: -- This version represents the way a majority of buyers get this case. It has the "Mods I" package, consisting of (1) abandoning the factory 120 fan guard / long card holder; (2) overdrilling the three sets
of fan mounting holes and installing grommets; (3) removing the Bezel frame in front of the HD fan mount; and (4) installing
filters on the intake fans. Fan guards are installed
on the inside lower front and backboard fans.
This
configuration is about the quietest setup you can get with
this kind of airflow. The intake is about 101 cfm
and the exhaust is about 86 cfm for a total flow-through
of nominally 187 cfm.
