SR20505 recommended: Because
this version of this chassis is so new, no specific trend
has been developed for the way buyers get this case.
However, this setup is a recommended one for buyers that
want a quiet workstation with doors the drive bays, or a server package in the office
instead of in the closet. It can easily handle a
conventional dual CPU setup.
Although this
version of the case costs more because of the way Chenbro
sends it out, there are fewer modifications and the credit
memo for the factory fans is greater.
The "Mods I-SD" package,
consists of (1) abandoning the factory 120 fan guard / long card holder; (2) overdrilling the three sets fan mounting holes are installing grommets;
and (3) installing filters. The Power Supply is an E465FM (fan monitoring model; AMD&P4 approved), installed with an Enermax mod for the 'bottom' 90 fan guard as needed.
The Sunon fans have been removed and replaced with the
Panaflo and JMC fans recommended for positive
pressure. The airflow is about 101 cfm intake and
about 86 cfm exhaust for a nominal flow-through of 185
