lower back: four 80 mm. mounts. The WTX8500 is the only case I know of that is sold in an ATX form and may be readily converted to the WTX standard. As such, this case could well be the longest-lived piece of equipment you will buy. However, I consider it somewhat overpriced at its current level. 8500 MODIFICATIONS The structure of the case and its performance as an ATX case really preclude needing much modification. The greatest cost benefit comes from the efforts to make the case quieter, IMHO, and is limited to installing grommet mounts. There is room on the backboard to install a 90 exhaust, but this generally is not recommended if one want to stay with positive pressure and the use of low-noise fans. INTERIOR DETAILING: Difficult, simply because this case is 'one big box' with almost no chassis members to tie off to. Extra cable ties are included in the finishing kit. If you want to good interior detailing, you will want longer data cables--24" floppy, 24" IDE and 24" ATA-66/100 cables.
